Volunteerism

Mr. Chartrand has an extensive history of community volunteerism, having served on numerous boards including the Northern Justice Society from Simon Fraser University, The Pas Health Complex, a large regional Hospital, the Race Relations Committee of The Pas, the Roman Catholic Catechism Committee in St. Boniface, the Manitoba Legislative Committee Review of Security Guards and Private Investigators, and has served as president of The Pas Friendship Centre and the Winnipeg Friendship Center, President of the Aboriginal Council of Manitoba and the Aboriginal Council of Winnipeg, and co-chaired the Onashowewin Aboriginal Criminal Justice Diversion Program.
